What kind of phones/mounting spot

I put my iPhone 4 (w/ bumper) across the change holder thing between the shifter and the front cupholder. The bumper grips great and the phone is on a solid foundation for me to press and hold the home button for voice command.

does anyone know if the usb port in the dash responds to usb hubs? I thnk that would be a little convenient for charging etc.

Took the extra cup holder and poured Rocktite in it, and set a flexible arm with cradle that I had left over in it.

I usually only use it for the GPS mode on the iPhone..

Very similar to what I have, mine is a little taller. Easy to reach and access plus the cord has a short travel distance so not in the way of anything.

Not in the least. Then again my avg drive distances are very short so I am always free to stop and get something to drink anytime. Plus I use the 'cup holder' in the door panel to hold my water frequently. I can't even remember the last time I had a drink in the free middle cup holder either!

I do a little bit, but it's the nature of the beast. I'm usually riding alone, so my sports bottle goes in the door cup-holder and then the coffee cup or whatever goes in the free cup holder in the center. It's a little more of a pain when someone else is with me and we hit a drive-through.

But oh well...I like the position of the phone so far and it was a quick / cheap solution until I figure out something I like better.

Yeah, having them in the cup holder definitely looks like its in perfect reach. Before I got the ProClips, I would just keep my phone in the rectangle holder to the right of the shifter. I really didn't want to spend $60-70 on the Pro-Clip set up so I asked for it for Christmas. :biggrin2: Problem solved hehe
