What maintenance should I perform out of this list?

Hey guys so a couple weeks ago I took my 2006 4R V6 to a shop to replace the alternator. While it was there the mechanic gave the car an "inspection" and came up with a fairly decent list of things I should change, replace, etc.

Here's that list: 4runner inspection 5/9/23 - Google Docs
(red: urgent, yellow: non-urgent, green: good)

In your guy's opinion what do you think is actually "urgent" and what should I change/replace right now? They also gave me estimates for each service, most of which was really expensive which is why I just stuck with the alternator replacement at the time. And I also think some of the things listed I can do myself.

Knowing your mileage would be helpful for things like the transmission fluid. Looking at the doc, I give the shop credit for documenting their suggestions with pics. The LCA bushings are no surprise, I recently replaced my LCAs with new ones from TRQ/1A Auto. That and the PS and diff fluids are fairly easy DIY projects and you'll find step-by-step write-ups on this forum and YT videos too. LMK if you have specific questions and I'll do my best to answer them or suggest sources.

Thanks. I meant to say the transmission fluid exchange is a pretty easy DIY as well, along with tightening up your driver, side, spark plugs. Again, check the forum, or YouTube for advice.

About the transmission fluid, any idea whether it’s ever been changed?

Honestly wouldn't stress that much about any of these things. Pretty common issues all around. Top of my list may be the the steering rack but really depends how bad its leaking. Diff fluids, cv axle, spark plugs, and lower control arms you can do yourself. And also the trans and power steering fluid you can probably do yourself as well just not positive on the process for replacement of those. Put them on your to do list but nothing I would say is urgent.

From those little pics, the CV's dont even look torn. They're dry. The only thing I feel that's kind of hard to DIY is the LCA's. It's a good amount of work, but you can still do it. Everything else is just basic maintenance. I would check on those spark plugs though.

For the power steering you may need a new pump and hoses. Mine started to leak and I just kept topping it off until I was able to get it replaced.
