Rock/Metal, mostly 70's and 80's, but some 90's & up.
Country (classic country through the new stuff)
Bluegrass
Hick Hop (not misspelled - check out Redneck Souljers "Tiller Gang" for a chuckle - best to watch the video on youtube for the full effect)
Some Pop
Some Blues
Some old Hip Hop
The occasional Rap - not much appeals to me here, but once in a while I stumble across one
Not sure how to classify this stuff, but I like when bands do modern versions of classical music, such as Trans Siberian Orchestra (outside of the Christmas stuff, which is cool too) or Mannheim Steamroller.
On the flip side, I also like when classically trained musicians do classical versions of new stuff, like 2 Cellos, the Piano Guys, etc. They're just different and their arrangements are generally done really well and give modern pieces a nice twist. Some of you guys that listen to rock/metal, check out vkgoeswild on youtube. Girl is trained in classical piano, but loves rock/metal and does her own arrangements (on piano) of Metallica, GNR, etc. Some of it is pretty good. I think her arrangement of the Scorpions "Winds of Change" is beautiful. The video of 2 Cellos doing AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" is awesome.
Right now though, I'm wearing out Trombone Shorty on my playlist. Just discovered this dude, he's been on the scene for a while in New Orleans I guess... but dang. They rock!

YES!!! Amazing band, but "ticks and leeches" gets me so amped I could tear a house down bare handed. Im a drummer and powerlifter so if the song tickles my fancy for either outlet I listen. All of these are some of my top lifting/drumming tunes.
