I'm all German on my dad's side. I have an aunt that traced our family history all the way back to the Holy Roman Empire where some of them were nobles. But before my family came to America they were living in West Germany/Eastern France and were glass makers. I have a distant relative that was forced into the military in not such a great time...

Really the only thing that's cool about my heritage is from my fathers side, I carry the name of a Greek island. The birth place of Apollo, and till this day no one can be born, or die on my island. A dream of mine is to one day step foot on it, many people visit the island but to my knowledge no one lives on it.

I'm about 1/5 Cherokee, and then 4/5 pretty much every Caucasian race in existence. Aka American.
As for the fame thing, I'm distantly related to Jerry Lee Lewis (singer of Great Balls of Fire) on my dad's side, and a distant relative of a man who served alongside George Washington in the American Revolutionary War on my mom's side. My mom's father is a member of the team who designed the original F-16 weapons computer for Lockheed Martin. He still works for them.
