Ok, last week I had the much talked about VSC lights on. CEL was also on and threw out a P0430 which can be a variety of things. Engine did not sputter during WOT so not expecting a cat. maybe bad O2 sensor? Maybe bad connection to the sensor? So after learning a lot from this site I did the TSB per instructions and VSC lights extinguished. Cleared CEL with my own code reader which by the way supports CAN. So everything is back to normal, maybe? Why are so many 4th gen. especially 03-05s having so much trouble with the bank 2 cats? Didn't see that many bank 1 complaints? I have a 03 sport 4x4 with V6. Thanks for all information to get me going again. Hope to learn a lot more! :redbrick:
