What OEM Toyota or aftermarket wheels will fit on the 4Runner?

Typically, I order my vehicles w/ the wheels I want and buy a used set of stockers (from another model, usually) to mount my winter tires. Do we know the offset of the new 4Runner wheels? Do Tacoma and FJ Cruiser usually have the same offset? I'd LOVE to find some of the anthracite TRD FJ wheels for dashing through the snow.

Is anyone running aftermarket or non-stock wheels on their runner yet?

BTW, word is all OEM FJ Cruiser wheels will fit on the 5th Gen 4Runner. Looks like these are going from $300 to $400/set. Should be excellent winter wheels.

sorry, but i seriously doubt those TRD FJ wheels will fit the new 4Runner. the TRD FJ wheels are 16-inches and won't clear the calipers on the 4Runner. unlike the previous generation (4G SR5s had 16" wheels stock) all grades of the 5G 4Runners (SR5, Trail, and Limited) feature the larger brakes so those wheels won't work.

too bad, though, as i agree they're some of the sharpest, least expensive wheels out there.

Good point. My father in law has an 06 FJ, so I can at least confirm if those stock wheels will fit. I'll be sure to post up my results.

16" wheels from FJ and Tacoma should not fit over the calipers of the 5th gen T4R according to those who have tried.

If you know otherwise, please report back. I've always liked the black TRD FJ wheels.

I have a new take off set of 5 off a 2008 FJ that I bought and was going to put on that are 17 inch. I think 2008 and newer had 17 inch but not the TRD ones.I also read somewhere that 16 inch FJ's won't fit because they went to the bigger brakes(I think 13.3 inch) standard on the 5th Gens. It used to be only the Limited had bigger brakes on the 4th's.

I traded my original 20's for a set of 17 inch SR5 wheels so I still have the 17 inch FJ wheels. I paid $350 for the set of 5 brand new take offs. I confirmed they do fit.Backspacing if I remember right was 4.25" or 4.75" instead of 4.5" so it would move your wheels out 1/4 inch. If somebody local is interested let me know as they would cost alot to ship.
