What pressure are you running your Falken Wildpeaks AT3W's

Just had a new set of Falken Wildpeaks installed. I have a 2.5" lift running 265/70R17's. I have 36 psi in them now and it seems to ride ok, now I'm trying to figure out where the sweet spot is for tire pressure. Just curious as to what everyone else is running theirs at.

2.5" lift. 285's 10ply. I run about 38psi on the street. 25psi on dirt. 15-18psi for sand/mud/snow and sometimes rock. Need to get a tire gage, track wear now that I got my lift and alignments where I want them, and adjust street pressures accordingly.

There are tables for this. If you are running LTs you are too low (unsafe). If running P metric you are higher than recommended.

If I recall from the minimum tire load (based on % of GAWR) the p metric in this size should have 32 psi. An LT should have a minimum of 38 PSI. Both are for on road application. Offroad is a different discussion.

I have my c-range AT3Ws at about 40psi, they ride well there and chalk mark looked good

(which is a bit lower load capacity than stock but still well above gvwr, i think i needed a little over 45psi to match stock)

36 psi when loaded and towing light camper. 32-34 psi unloaded...chalk test for both is good.

I have been running the same size in SL for the past 3 weeks. Started at 38 and worked my way down to 32. 32 cold has been perfect on the road and driving around town at stock weight. I will probably bump it up to 35 on road trips with a loaded rig.

Just wanted to report back on the 265/70/17 SLs. 32 PSI set cold around high 30s/low 40s outside has been overall great for a empty stock weight rig on street roads. It’s subjective, but I think it’s smoother than the LT KO2 by a good bit. I occasionally do get a little vibration before they warm on the highway commute - not sure if psi related or balancing. I haven’t felt the need to mess with the psi as I did before at higher psi’s. I do think every rig is different and the moment I have more weight in or on the truck I will need to adjust.
