What size tires on stock rims

I've got a 96 limited with the 16" stockers and I'm wondering what are larger popular size tires you guys normally use. Currently I've got 265/70

Probably the most common increase in tire size is to a 265/75R 16. This is the same width as the OEM 16" tire size, but is approx. 1" taller.

Yep, that size is probably the route I'll take because I want to stay with the stock wheels. However, I'm wondering if there are any other size options that fit?

You could go with 275 70 16. The 275s were about 1/2" taller and about 1/2" wider than the 265s. My other brother has those size in Toyo, either H/T's or A/T's can't remember, and he has no problems at all with rubbing.

Be sure to stay within the tire manufacturers recommended sizes for your rims plus close to the stock O.D. so as not to throw the speedometer off too much. The tire specs will tell you. Also, tirerack.com is a very good source for info as are other tire websites.

I'm looking to get some Michelin 275/70r16s soon. I know it's probably not the most popular size but is anyone else running this setup?
