What size tires?

I have a 97 4Runner 4x4 and I have two sets of rims, stock 16x7 4Runner Rims and 16x8 Land Cruiser rims. I'm looking at buying a new set of all season tires and winter tires but can't decide what size to buy. I was recommended 265/70 R16 tires on the 16x8 Land Cruiser rims (BFG A/T KO's) and 265/75 R16 tires (Goodyear SilentArmors) for my winter set on my 16x7 rims. I wanted to see what all of your opinions were and if anyone has experience running Land Cruiser rims on their stock suspension. Thanks!

265/75/16 might rub..

Mines were 265/70/16. and they were fine with no lift.. As for tires it all depends what you want. you want smooth quite get HT tires. YOu want aggressive look get AT. Some AT tires are actually quiet if not quieter then HT tires.

Dueler AT revo are quiet. I can speak for other names, because I never experienced them.

I had bfg mud terrains before and they were OK.. but I dont wheel enough to warrant them.

I rock the BFG AT TA ko's in 265/75/16 and I like em. They're loudest between 25-40 mph but it doesn't bother me at all. I do rub slightly when stuffing tires and occasionally on my front passenger wheel well, but I also have wheels that are spaced out about 3/4" past factory specs. The only parts I rub on are the fender liner that could be molded out of the way with a heat gun... I'm getting 20mpg (~75% highway driving) with these tires, I'm happy.

Thanks guys for the help, I think I'm going to buy 265/70 for both sets and put the KOs on my land cruiser rims since they run a little wide.
