Im trying to research, steering wheel interfaces or module.

In the old 4runner I got the PAC SWI-RC and it was a real headache, we just gave up. So Im looking for something easy to program.
Any help would be appreciated. Oh, I got a Kenwood DNX6190hd, and non JBL lol

i personally use idatalink maestro sw. easy to program and install. if you got a headunit that supports datalink, you can get the rr version. gives you some real time data from the obd 2 port.
i had trouble/problems with the metra axcess sw, sometimes the buttons did not respond at all.

I used an idatalink Maestro RR with my Kenwood head unit (DMX7704S), non-JBL '06, and, with no experience doing things like this, got it all right the first time. It has worked flawlessly since. It retained full steering wheel controls. I also added the Bluetooth button to the steering wheel and it incorporated that into the system flawlessly. I primarily use Android Auto through the Kenwood head unit without any problems.

I just order the setup from crutchfield. comes with the radio adapter and everything. just plug and play with the steering wheel controls

Using the Crux swrty-61s interface, radio section works perfect, the phone controls not so much. They ( Crutchfield) are sending me a replacement under warranty, as Crux customer support [for me} sucked rectum.
