Jay Rolla. my uncle is a truck driver and seeing that his truck has retreads only on the trailer and back tires of the rig. i just cant come to my sense to put them on my truck for the front turning wheels.

LittleCaesar i do know someone at sears that could get me discount and besides ive called indytire by my house and with my dealership price sears is cheaper by about 50 to 60 bucks per tire so thats why im looking there. Thanks for input though guys. which do you guys like better out of the ones i have listed. ive been leaning towards the duratracs.
 
X2 on the Duratrac's. How much would the Sears discount be? I paid $173 each for my Duratrac's so make sure the discount is worth it before you commit to Sears

i believe i can get like 30% from my friend then an extra 10% for using my sears credit card. so that would be 40% off. where did you get your duratracs?
 
Duratracs only because they are the only C Range tire you listed. But I'd also consider Hankook DynaPro's and Nitto TerraGrappler's too.

yea i was just looking at the nittos they are nice. with all the discounts i can get from sears for duratracs they would be 165 a tire not bad right?
 
It really depends on what you use your truck for.

Drive a lot in snow: Duratracs.

Rock crawl: BFG KM2's

Play in the sand: Grabbers

All of the above: probably the Duratracs

Check discount tire direct or treadepot.com before you buy from sears
 
I got the exact size Duratracs you listed a couple months ago, I have nothing but good things to say about them. Join the band wagon on here and snatch them, you won't regret it.

30% + 10% Doesn't equal 40%

Say tires are 800. 30% off would be 240 off to equal 560. Then you take 10% off of that, $56 dollars off. Total savings being 296 dollars off. Total Price= $504

40% off 800 is 320 not 296.

30% off first, then 10% off that.

7th grade math.
 
There may be other tires that are better at certain things, but I'm convinced there isn't another tire that does everything as well as the Duratrac, especially if you live in the snowbelt. You won't regret it.

These are not like running retreads on a truck, this company has been doing this for over 30 years and never had an issue with there retreads, not to mention magazines have tested these and loved them, but to each his own. I have them on three vehicles and I know over 5 people running them personally not to mention everyone else on these forums and others with no issues

I said before I really looked at them sorry. I was reading up on the reviews and everything about them they seem pretty good for the prices so I might consider it. But might also go ahead with some duratracs and see if I like those. Not sure really what I'm going to do right now. Thanks for the input thought.

Don't bother. They'll ship you garbage and try to make you keep it. Then make you fill out paperwork and wait around before they send you what they should have from day 1. Personal experience, waste of time.

I bought them just to get something on for winter. Switching to duratracs since they do better in snow.
