Ahhh, it's always nice to hear when someone shares your own views. Screw the French and everything they make.sbbamafan said:I, too, think that the Michelins are the best but I refuse to buy anything made in or by THAT country. I know I will be looking to replace my Duelers in less than a year so I am interested in this thread. As for the Duelers, they have the same Bridgstone traits I have had in other Bridgestones. Specifically, they are quiet and right well but their wet traction and wear characteristics leave a lot to be desired.

On to the tires, I also have the AT Revo's on my XTerra and love them dry/wet/snow/mud. I have noticed that the Dunlops that came on the 4R are extremely loud at highway speeds. Very loud whining noise from them, no sir I don't like 'em![]()
That's interesting. The OEM set I got was made in Thailand. A lot of tire companies are moving production to Southeast Asia, closer to the rubber sources.rx900 said:The Cross Terrain is made in USA.

The folks who will tell you they are not the best, are the cheap bastards who will not or cannot pay the extra money for them. These same folks will also tell you that all tires are the same, round and black.
NASA uses Michelin's on the space shuttle. That should answer any question you may have.
The only knock I have on Michelin is they are French. Other than that, they are first rate.
Go out and get yourself a set. You will be glad you did.
