What winches are you guys running in the C4 lo-pro bumper?

For those who have installed the Smittybilt X2O on the C4 hybrid bumper. Experience, feedback?
Also, which models fit, is it only in pro comp. I would like the waterproof model. Specific model numbers will help.

Where is everyone mounting the control box? Any issues? I have an LFD Hybrid I am about to install and I have the Ironman 12,000 winch but you can't mount the control box on top of the winch. I am working on moving the control box to the empty space by the air intake like this video.

I decided to give the Warn VR10-S a try and it did indeed fit. I did have to move the hard line running horizontally across the radiator though and it is sitting on top of the control pack.
Picture/rig looks awesome! I am doing the same install in a few weeks (C4 LoPro, BD 30in, and Warn VR10-S). Any tips that might come in handy? Did you need to buy anything extra to get it all installed? I am hoping the AC condenser line is the only thing I need to modify. TIA!

I just started doing my install today. C4LoPro with 30 inch extreme led and Warn VR EVO 12S (the 10S and 12S have the exact same dimensions)
The AC line was no issue. In fact I prematurely moved it 1/2 inch thinking I had to and then once I installed the bumper I saw that the winch wasn’t anywhere near the AC like. The power steering line however is a different story.
I didn’t want to relocate my Warn control box so I had to unscrew both power steering brackets from the truck and lift it up using a zip tie. I secured it to the long metal bracket that goes up vertically in front of the radiator (see pic) and I wrapped the area touching the box with electrical tap.
Then I left line resting on top of the box for a few hours so it stretches the flexible hoses on both end of the power steering line and to make sure the angel wasn’t sever enough to cause issue or leaks.
I then loosened the holding brackets that clamp on to the power steering line and then attached the bracket back to the truck, but allowing the line to move freely inside the holder (once you see it, it’ll make sense)
At first it looked like it was gonna stretch things out a bit too much. So I slowly tightened everything down starting on the passenger side and checked for stresses and it looked good.
The passenger bracket lines up pretty well. The driver side is the one that starts pulling on the line. I think ideally bending that bracket back about 1/2 would put a little less stress on the lines so may do that tomorrow. Check the pics and let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!
The last pic is of the flexible hose that allows for this flex to take place. That’s what you want to pay attention to, to make sure it’s not stretching out too much and causing the clamps to fail or open.

Thanks for the details! I have the same goal, I don’t want to relocate the Warn control box. Glad you were able to make it work. I’ll post back once I start my install.

Anyone install an extreme 30” x6s slim amber/white light bar to there C4 low pro winch ? If so what did your brackets from C4 look like ? I’m having a 1/2” gap from front of the light bar to the inside of the bumper.
Is that normal ? Here’s me bracket form C4.

I put the warm 10-s platinum in mine. I had to do some magic with my supercharger, but everything else fit just fine. I put some rubber hose over the power steering line that contacts the control box and left the bolts out.

I just installed the exact same light bar with my C4 and it looks exactly the same

No problem at all. Give us an update for sure. Just FYI I just discovered a new issue . I guess it could slightly vary on the winch, but pay close attention to where the rope is rubbing on the inside of the bumper. Not good.
I just installed a 1 inch Factor 55 fairlead on the out side and secured it to the highest position. The rope is still rubbing on the inside of the bumper right where the line comes out of the winch. The only way I see to get rid of this is to install another fairlead on the inside which is insane.

Ughhh let me email c4 to see what they say. I bought a 1in Factor 55 fairlead as well. Could we use the Warn fairlead for the inside?

I tried, it’s a no go. Not enough Clerance between the winch and the bumper. I’m gonna try again tomorrow, maybe I can slide it in from the side. I don’t think anyone sells a 1/2 thick fairlead.

Problem solved! Or should I say there isn’t one. When I tested for clearance on the line I only had pulled out several spools. C4 emailed me back and said once you take out several feet, it moves the line up higher and it’ll clear that edge. That makes total sense! I can’t believe I didn’t think of that! Duuhhh
