What would cause resistance shifting into reverse in 07 T4R SR5 V6 2WD Auto Trans on flat ground? With parking brake off, my foot on the brake it will not go first try 1st try out of 3 tries, then it takes some (2-3 or more). On and off the brake today it took at least 6 tries. I step on/off the brake thinking braking is not allowing shifting into reverse. Am I missing something or is it a positioning matter even on Flat Ground? I even tried to move the Runner slightly.
The Used Runner is still new to me 10,000 mi since my 2010 purchase (43,000 mi to 53.000 now but I will improve with my health. My Small Shop Toyota Specialist thought it was the Brake Switch but they works always vs allowing reverse with ease.
