what would it take to upgrade an 03-04 V8 to VVT-i ?

A brief summary of vvt-i

also header design, the y-pipe, and ecm fuel mapping has much to do with the difference in the hp/tq ratings. Although the 2004 V8 non-vvti and 2005+V8 vvti "feel" the same in a head to head race the 2005 will slowly walk the older V8 non-vvti. But then again who really races a SUV anyway right?
