What would you do?

Would you just shut up already francis?
Your stupid is showing again.
Sales doesn't have a damn thing to do with recalls.
Just shut up.

Oh boy now thats where it gets funny Doc, No no no, Toyota sales has there fingers in the service,

Write the books, educate the techs, and make the recommendations,

Toyota Sales does none of the above. And you worked at a car dealership? You should understand how it works. Sales is sales and Service is Service. Did you know that the dealership's Service Department brings in far more money than it's Sales Department?

Prepare for a long and rambling conspiracy theory post from frank.
LOL.

What,s up Doc ?

Yes Doc, I am aware of that, that is why I described it as the "Backbone" of the dealership,

I will try to keep this short plain and simple, the Service department (part of the dealership) and the main source of income is the main part of a dealership marketing,

Okay Doc your tracking with me, service dept is part of the marketing, why do you go to market,? to sell stuff,

Here read this,
At Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. (TMS), we take pride in what the Toyota name represents—innovation, quality and reliability. From our associates and dealers to our suppliers and customers, our devotion to constant improvement results in an exceptional line of cars and trucks.

TMS, Toyota’s U.S. sales and marketing arm, oversees sales and other operations in 49 states.

Over see sales and other operations, the other operations would be the service,

so no big ramble there, we are on the same page Doc, unless you dont feel the service dept that keeps the lights on is "Marketing"

Ponder, research, TMS Supervises dealer marking, and service is main part,

Nope

Prepare for a long and rambling conspiracy theory post from frank.
LOL.

Just picking the lock on your sad panda cage Rixxer,

You see lets go to the land of make believe as my good friend likes to say,
and you Wise up

Understand that the goo in the axle is a grease, from production, I get you set up as a exclusive installer of the "Secret goo" and you make a butt load of money,

Enough to buy your own Dealership, "Rixxers Rigs" Sole owner, and like any other dealership it has a Sales and Service Dept,

The only problem here Rixxer is it couldnt be a Toyota dealer, Why ? because you couldnt use the factory grease,

Have to do what the "Supervisor" says, and the Supervisor tells you to use a #2 grease,

sorry wrong thread, oh maybee not this is about BS from Toyota Sales, they Supervise this crap,

So Rixxers Rigs, Heck go with just a used car dealership Rixxer and sell all kinds of piles,

There is your ramble, and I will work on a conspiracy theory,,

Oh I am busting up

Would you just shut up already francis?
Your stupid is showing again.

Just shut up.

Would you just shut up already,,, ??? so funny , Well maybee your right about that havent looked into it, with the recall deal,

Oh speaking of "Recalls" way back when I first started on this I called a Toyota service writer in AZ that posted on Mud and talked to him about this whole grease deal,

Described the goo in the axle as a "Recall" So of course it isnt but thats what he called it,, So Toyota sales can fabricate a "Recall" his terms not mine, anyway the weasel deleted his post, John if I remember right, somewhere in AZ,

But back to Tech Jockeys Binder deal ??? do you spose he could see the write up,, ?

OR speak with the tech ? bet he has got a different story,,
Yes Tech jockey did you ever get to talk to the tech ? or just dealing with the middle men ?

there was no knuckle recall.

Called it a Recall,

there was no knuckle recall.

I know Rixxer, his words not mine, he called it a recall, So these axles have enough goop in them often enough it is common as a recall,

I know it aint a actual recall, But now for as much as a guy finds goop in these things ??? Hell Crawler had to build a "Eco seal" to save the entire planet,

What crap, Man I wish you could see this, Wise up Rixxer

Maybee it should have been, but the difference here its what is put in there,

not seal failure,

You're being stupid again, francis.

How many of solid axle toyotas have you worked on now?
3?

How many have you seen that were low mileage original, un-touched, AS BUILT?

Oh yeah...... NONE.

Sky is green and the grass is blue

Rix,

I do not know how many times I have to tell you this, It was obvious to me the thing was built for a fluid grease,

Not because I worked on a whole bunch of Toyotas, but all sorts of other rigs, all sorts of power transmission devices, in all sorts of applications from fork lifts, bob cats, lawn mowers, trucks cars you name it from every make and model,

I can see the engineering involved to contain a fluid grease, FACT,

plain as day,

And it just so happens that I had seen this type of grease over the years, never thought much about it, till,

A Toyota Service Manger Told me it was Private, much like he will tell tech jockey if he actually wants proof of the write up,,

I can see it, you cant because, your blinded by Toyota sales,

Come out Rixxer so you dont have to pull your stupid card and get thrown under the Bus, like you know they will,

Come out,

Keep a eye on this clown

after all this time... your name just clicked.

i always just thought you were a tranny named frank...

:roadkill:

Okay, If you would have posted @ least one thing in this entire thread that remotely would give advise to Tech Jockey with his brake situation I would not have suspected you as a clown

So either your working for the "Darkside" of Toyota information services or just like to post stupid pictures, of sad pandas, unicorns, and little kittys playing with thread,

according to your profile, a 21 year old kid, Well laugh if you want but propagandist with much the same profile, working for Toyota information services post mis leading information , I have proof of that much,

So why dont you post up some info that will help tech jockey one way or another, than to just post up your stupid pictures,

I got my eye on you and you have posted nothing but crap, so post up some decent information or shut the hell up and get they hell out of here,

Your impeding my deprogramming of Rixxer, distracting him,

HE'S posted nothing but crap?
You're one to talk, mr. kettle.

I guess my final comment on this is - recommendations for service are just that. However when you surround your recommendation with material lies derived from the service I pay for (inspection and measurement), you are one step from fraud. The remaining step is to inflict loss based on this previous act.

In hindsight I probably would have been smarter to film a professional measuring the brakes and then send the car in for a full brake job at dealer 1 - pads, rotors, shims and even the timing belt I need. Maybe order some new tires.

I could just point them to my youtube video when it came to paying.

That would have been classic!

This latest thought points to a missed opportunity. :redbrick:

Oh well!
