I'd buy a '99 or '00 Limited, but in a different color scheme. Don't ever use my e-locker...anyone want it?

whoops my bad, so yeah IMO 99-00 are the years to shoot for if you want the most stock features, finding one with them is the hard part...

If I had to get a Canadian model, then I'd get the 1999 SR5 V6 manual with e-locker. Reason being is that I think in 2000, most of the them had the wood grain interior unless you bought the Badlands edition.

If I had access to US models, I would definitely get the 1999 or 2000 Highlander as the only models in Canada that had body colored bumpers and grille were only offered in automatic transmission in Canada.

I went this route in searching for my '99 Limited Millenium Silver Metallic. Only thing it doesn't have is a sport hood and a supercharger and those are in the works. :trophy:

If I could have anything I want I would have my 1999 but with a factory e-locker. Mine doesn't have one. But it is hard enough to find a highlander / sport with 4x4 let alone with a locker. My mom will be looking for an 02 sport with 4x4. There are a total of 2 02 sports for sale in Oregon and one of them is 2 wheel drive.

I would have a mix of the two 3rd gens that I've owned. So a sunfire red pearl, supercharged, 5speed, e-locker with sport hood. I didn't know how much I would like the sunfire red pearl on my 99 but I really miss it with the oak interior. Though I do love my black supercharged 98 5speed with grey interior. Yes I'm on my second 3rd gen. Just miss those mid gen upgrades.
