Harbor Freight. $20 after 20% coupon. They price it in the store at $30, but their website lists it at $25. I had the site loaded up and asked to pay the website price.

I'm doing that tomorrow I think. If it doesn't rain. I'm trying to plastidip all of my chrome. Done the mirrors and bumpers so far. Need to do the wheels, front grill, and door handles.

Pulled it in to the garage and parked it. I had all the doors off while I play with different door ideas and it started to rain.

Today, I gave mine her first wash in a month. I cleaned all windows, on the inside. I have a 5 month old pup and therefore a shat ton of nose prints and smears! Ha, love it. Lastly, I added 2 screws to my amps mount, its on the rear panel on the pass side, near roll bar. anyways, it only had two aft screws and was vibrating A LOT (NOISY), no mas! She's riding clean and quieter for now, trail time is soon though, as you know!:driving::driving:

Changed the nasty transmission fluid in my '85 4Runner (22RE 5SPD). Put in some Royal Purple fluid. Used this fluid in my previous '87 Corolla GT-S (AE86) and was great. I definitely noticed an improvement in the smoothness of the shifts in both my Corolla and my 4Runner (especially the 4Runner)!

Replaced tie rod ends yesterday, today was a window regulator, a pair of leaking heater hoses, and got started painting the new sliders.

That brings the winter tally to tie rod ends, alternator, water pump, radiator and heater hose, new plugs and wires, window regulator, and one cracked tail light cover.

I still need to replace my vacuum lines and then I should be ready for summer. Future projects if I have time include bracing the idler and yanking all the old AC crap, but I'll probably leave that for next winter. I didn't get out much last summer and need to make up for lost time.

I plasti dipped the front grill today. One less "chrome" piece on the truck. Still have the door handles, fender trim, tailgate emblems, and license plate frame.

I just put 2 Brand New front seats in my 1985 4runner! Whooop! They are not 4runner seats however. They are from a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe, and are both passenger side seats, but with a little modification and welding, 3 hours later I am riding in comfort again.
Why those seats? Well, they were FREE!! As in Zero Dollars and Zero cents!! I even took them out of the shipping boxes myself.
They sit a few inches taller than original, but I can get used to it.arty:

Will I am not doing it but just dropped it off with new head with new valves, cam, springs etc and new timing chain HD kit, new wires and oil pan gasket. He hopes to have it done before the weekend. Once it gets done then I am going to do some work on the rear springs and front end.

Went to the pick & pull salvage yard today and picked my up a "new" driver side rear door. I just need to paint it next week and install it.

I broke down and bought a starter from the dealer after getting the little click-click-die from three parts store rebuilds.
