wth? This guy is selling a 2wd 4runner $1k less than I am on my sequoia (also a 2wd). That doesn't seem right! Toyota 4 Runner 2001

I'm assuming you mean he is overcharging. Which I would agree with. I spent less on my 2000 4x4 with less miles and I made the dealer to my timing belt and water pump and include it in the price.
When I bought it and drove it back (Minnesota to Oklahoma) I got 19 mpg and for the week it was stock roughly 17 in town. My mom had a 02 limited 2wd from new to 80k miles and it got 18 everywhere. Highway, city, dirt. Didn't matter. With a well maintained truck I don't see why 17-18 isn't do-able all day. I don't care what the haters say

ray: I just posted my CL ad in other surrounding areas in CA, so hoping I will get some bites. If not, I will probably have to lower my price in another week or two and see if I get anymore bites.

btw - Think of weight when you get your 4runner. Good driving habits and lighten up your load should equal better mileage.

Yea, he probably thinks I am a weirdo for eating, sleeping and breathing 4runners right now. lol I seriously check them out everywhere I go. I notice them in my college parking lot, at traffic lights, passing me on the freeway.. Like today. On Tuesdays I end up parking next to this brownish colored one all the time, and today I noticed he put some new dents in the bumper. I was like "Ouch!" when I saw it. lol

He is going through divorce so we are and will only be just friends. He has been asking me out to dinner for weeks but I just haven't yet.

He has already volunteered to ride with me for when potential buyers want to test drive my sequioa although I think my ex bf would be a better test-drive occupant since he does MMA training and this guy is recovering from some health issues. I want someone to protect me in case some jerkoff tries to steal my car with me in it!

You must have a good relationship with your ex haha. You don't need either one of them though. The best defense is a good offense. When someone expresses interest in the Sequoia, go to the meet dressed like this:
Bring a cat, do a couple of random head jerks, and mention something about needing to be back in time to take your pills. You won't have to worry about anyone stealing the Sequoia then... with you in it at least. Hell, you probably won't even have to worry about anyone buying the Sequoia if you did all that, but at least you'd be safe :hatsoff:

On another note I am getting emails to my CL ad from people either trying to get my email address by cleverly requesting i respond to a certain email address with my firm price or a toyota dealership is asking me to bring it in for an appraisal. Oh, and woke up to 2 spam texts from people telling me to advertise on some classified website.
