Had some huge diverse lady get pissed at me when i was driving. she pulled up at a stop sign and told me she had a .45 in the glove box and she was gonna shoot me. I looked at her and said "if you have a gun, then shoot me!" And just sat there. I guess she didnt actually have a gun because im still here.
Any ways not too good of a story, but it scares me to think about me being stupid in high school. I hate road rage!!!
And while on the scary road rage, a few months back i was coming home from snowboarding in my honda civic. I passed this dude in a minivan He was going was slow and it was a legal passing zone. He tried to ram me off the road, I kinda got pissed and flipped him off. Next thing i know he is hauling butt at me, and i can see him throwing stuff and flipping out in his van. I smashed the gas. right about 90 mph, he pulls up next to me and is trying to smash the rear quarter pannel on my car with his van. Im freaking out at this point and look down and see a full 16 oz monster. I huck that thing out the window and it smashes his van at going almost 100mph! he really freaks and i keep on the gas. I threw another monster out at 120 mph, it hits the road and then explodes on his van, by this time my honda is on the rev limiter in 5th. im doing 125 mph. hes probably doing 115 mph in his van. i keep the speed up all the way down lone pine canyon (its a road that on the san andreas fault and is straight and down hill). When i reach the bottom there is a sharp corner and a dirt road the other direction. I stop in the road. And pull into the dirt as dude tried to ram me at 60 mph. he goes screeching in the corer and i take off down the dirt, find some trees and just wait. i saw him sitting waiting for me for about 20 minutes.
it was super scary... Im sure that monster messed up his van...
That's pretty crazy dude. Anyone who takes a van to 115 mph is asking to die. My old Civic felt the same at 100 as it did at 60 so it's lucky you had a faster car that can handle those speeds.
So my story..
About 10 years ago (right after I got my current 4runner) I pulled into the Valero gas station in Rimforest (a popular meeting spot up here for wheeling) at about 10pm. I went in and got some food and then I was sitting in my truck eating in the parking lot when a guy pulls up next to me in a beat-up little Nissan pickup. He sits there parked for a minute or so and then he starts the engine back up, pulls out, turns around and backs up into the same spot. I thought that was strange, but I remember thinking at first, "Well maybe he's waiting for someone and wanted to face the entrance or something".
He sat there for another few minutes and then he got out of the truck and gave me a weird look like he was going to ask me something and decided not to. Then he walked around the corner and disappeared out of my view. By this time I'm done eating, but I decided to stick around and see what the hell this guy is doing.
The guy is a POS. Covered in jail tats, greasy long hair, and dirty like he just walked out of a Clint Eastwood western. He was just one of those guys that you can in fact "judge a book by it's cover". I'm thinking about the guy's behavior - He pulls in, then decides to turn the truck around, and then walks around the place, but doesn't go inside. I could tell he didn't go inside because there were windows in front of me and I could see inside pretty well. I'm thinking he must be casing the place to rob it.
So after a few minutes he comes back from around the corner of the building and notices I'm still there. I start my engine at this point and he's staring at me like he's crazy now. Then he walks quickly over to my truck and stands right in front of me and gives me this mad dog look like, "why the f*** are you still here?". He stood there between my truck and the building (which is about a 4" wide space) for what felt like 30 seconds. And then he reaches behind his back.
At this point I'm thinking he's got a gun so my plan is to duck down, hit the gas and ram him into the building with my truck. I have to say, it's sort of unreal when a thought like that actually becomes a plan. If I would have seen any sign of a gun or even a motion like he was going to point something at me, I was resolved to the fact that I had to make him into a hood ornament... or at least try. Still staring at me, he paused with his hand behind his back long enough for me to put it in reverse and start backing up. He continued to stare right into my eyes with the look of a lunatic and he kept his hand behind his back as I backed up, put it in drive and drove away.
I managed to get the first 4 numbers of his plate while I was leaving and I wanted to call the Sheriff right away. I know the reason he did all that was because he wanted to rob the place and he knew I had seen him and his truck. I didn't have a cell phone at that time so I called when I got home (which was just a mile or so down the road). I went back there after I called the Sheriff to see if anything happened, but nothing did. To this day I believe he must have thought twice about robbing the place after our little stare down. Who knows, but it was pretty freaky.
