What’s the difference

Hi guys, sorry if this is a dumb question but what are the differences between the TRD pros


I’m thinking about jumping into the 5th gen scene and I’ve had my eyes on a TRD pro but I can’t seem to find any difference between the years, the 2015 looks exactly the same as the 2018. Other then new colors coming out can anyone let me know what’s the difference between them, and yes I know I’m dumb for asking, I’m just coming from the 2nd and 3rd gen so the 5th gen is totally new to men

Just color choices.
If you’re keeping the suspension then it’s worth it but if you’re gonna lift it then save a few Gs and get a TRD Off Road Premium

I currently have a white 2015 TRD Pro and am waiting to take delivery on a black 2018 TRD Pro. As far as I can tell the only differences between the years are the colors as someone had already mentioned. But also the TRD Pro badging on the rear hatch and the center council has a carbon fiber looking finish.
Other than those two tiny cosmetic differences everything appears to be identical.

That’s what I was thinking of doing... but if i could get a 2015 Pro for cheaper then a new off road premium I would pretty much have a new TRD pro lol

I seriously can’t find nothing different even on the stats, it’s just a few little things like the head rest and fake carbon fiber console

The TRD Off Road has same blackout interior with carbon fiber console.
The Off Road can get a few more options such as sunroof, KDSS, and has blinker lights on mirrors.

Unique color choices separate the year from what I remember.

Also, 2019 will have Fox suspension vs Bilstein.
