It looks like a mic for hands free or something. Does yours have a Bluetooth, hands-free built-in?

I have a few friends who mentioned the Government installed microphone idea to me. Ive been watching my language as I drive LOL :driving:It was only owned for one day then taken back to Toyota with 25 miles on it. I was told it was an executive vehicle out of New Jersey..

I don’t have the factory Bluetooth option, or any aftermarket kit that I know of.

A few have posted humorous posts about it being a government planted bug.

Don't be so quick to laugh. There are ideas being bandied about where the govt. would require a GPS unit to be installed in all vehicles, and they would then tax you on a per mile driven basis. Of course, this GPS would also give the government the ability to track you everywhere you go.

I dont care for the government tracking my every move. On that note theyre probably tracking me now.:help:

No, no, no. Its the mic toyota engineers put in to get real customer feedback on what changes to make to the '10 model. Speak into it and repeat after me:6-speed manual, taller suspension, HID headlights, LED light everywhere else, of course you can add some stuff in there too as long as its cool.

Concur on the alarm glass breakage microphone. I installed this alarm when I first got my 4runner. It sucked.
