I stopped BS'ing myself 4 days after I bought the truck and ordered Kings with adjusters from Downsouth Motorsports :lmao:

The real problem with this is how do I convince my wife I “need” this? I’m exact situation as you and love the TRD rims so much.

Roughly 2 weeks in with ownership and the list includes: blackout emblem kit, window tint, nerf bars, painted side rails, tires, and wheels in that order. I need to slow down.

Got a new TerRD Off-road premi, going to "mod" the heck out of it. Real custom stuff, I just can't decide if I should tilt the front plate to the right of left? :bounce:

Where did you buy them from and for how much? I just got my SR5 Premium today and love the TRD rims. I found this place called olathe Toyota that sells them shipped for about $780.

Olathe kansas? Surely no good can come from a flyover state.

Got them from the dealership. 800$ mounted / balanced using the original tires. They kept the original rims.
 
First order of business on my 3rd gen will be maintenance items.

First real "mods" are all going on at the same time:
-Wheeler's Eibach Pro Lift kit
-Tundra Steelies, powdercoated "Cool Charcoal" by Prismatic powders
-BFG KM2 255/86/16s
-OEM Tundra brembo brakes

Going for the "all business" look with the steelies!
 
Modifications

So just purchased 2018 TRD Off Road, black in color. First mod was tinted the windows 5%. Trying to decide between AFE or K & N Cold air intake, factory speakers will get upgrade but w/8 speakers audio store was unsure if there was a built in amp into vehicle already, so doing more research. Look forward to input from others.
 
first mod was 3" lift, new rims and big tires. made a huge difference in the look now I need to get it running right and sort my transfer case problems, a little backwards I know hahahaha
 
First ones were slightly beefier tires (wrangler trail runner A/T's) and brush covers for my tail lights, hopefully more to come when I get a bit more disposable income & can fix this acceleration problem.
