She had 89,460 miles on the clock. All services performed by one of our local dealers. Oil changes every 2500-4000 miles.

I was passing a red ford ranger running about 50-55 mph. Heard a LOUD bang and saw smoke. The wife asked "what was that" and all I said was...
I'll never forget our sitting on the side of the road and the guy in the red ranger riding past us beeping his horn and waving. My 10 year old couldn't understand the humor :

Of course, Corporate Toyota would not provide any help (we did not expect them too, but had to ask). Then we tried to work a trade with the local dealer (what a joke), so we called the dealer where we purchased the 1999. This dealer (in Hendersonville NC) was more than willing to have our repeat business. If you are in the market, I can tell you who to call.
