05 Suzuki GSX-R 750

This is the reason I own a 4Runner. To have something to tow my bike to the track.

It is a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R 750 with about 22k on it.

I have a few goodies for the track day on it.

If I didn't have the bike I would probably drive a Honda Accord.

Been tinkering with Cjs since 2000 in high school. I've owned this one for 13yrs. Its been through an engine swap, conversion to automatic, added power steering, swapped tcase, added 3/4 ton axles. The frame is the only thing not swapped for another part.

I'm a bike fanatic, too.

The second pic is a ZX-10 behind a 2000 ZX-12R.

The last is Pierre Terblanche's controversial Ducati 999. Possibly the R version, I can't tell for sure from the pic.

I had a deposit on a green '00 ZX-12R. But then the German magazine Motorrad, had their test bike huck a connecting rod through the cases. Thus started the long delay in the delivery of pre-ordered bikes, with no explanation from KHI.

So I made due with the '99 CBR1100XX I had, for a couple more years. I did eventually buy a '02 ZX-12R in red.

I've ridden most of the Ducati range of bikes, from the last 20 years or so, but have never owned one.

The Desmosedici was the coolest, for the sound more than anything. Followed closely by a buddies Panigale 1199R, which I got to ride from LA to Oregon and back along the PCH, while switching off with him for his BMW HP4.

Since I don't have a 5th gen 4Runner. I'll bow out of posting my toys in this thread.

You are correct sir. I am impressed. It's kind of an unusual bike - only year that had the 220 MPH speedo, only year without the 186MPH speed limiter. I saw 175 on the clock once. I'm the original owner and it won't be sold until I am 6 ft under.

The Duc 999R was my fantasy bike when it came out. My ex wife (emphasize ex) said there is no way in hell you are spending $32K on a motorcycle. God bless the guy she is with now.

It was sort of funny when I drove it because very rarely would I meet somebody who even knew what it was or how rare it was. I sold it with (yes, I am not lying) 999.9 miles on the clock. It felt fitting.
