Yes, you KEEP your stock lugs to mount your wheel with. The Spiders come with NEW logs to mount the spacers to the hub with. Those are what's needed and you use the included thread locker on them for peace of mind. Most spacers don't include this, but these do and it's smart. They are connected to your wheels

I have the SpiderTrax spacers installed on stock wheels and tire size with a little rub at full lock. Does anyone know if a leveling spacer on the front suspension will eliminate the rub without having to grind away the bumper ?

You'll need to trim and move the fender liner forward a bit, especially if your alignment is set to max caster. It's easy.

^^^^ Agreed. I did the same thing when I added my spacers with the stock wheel. I think everyone should at least do this mod so you'll be set for whatever tire size you want as long as it's reasonable. I also run my 18" Summer wheels & tires with no issues. 275/65/18.

I went with the 1.25" spidertrax on my 2018 about 5k miles ago. No issues, though I did need to do the fender mod.

The only thing that bugged me a bit was torquing down the wheel lug nuts. I used loctite on the space lugs, and they torqued up quickly. Meaning, there wasn't a whole lot of turning to get them from finger-tight to properly torqued.

But the wheel lugnuts, the ones which attach to the bolts on the spacers, required a lot of tightening from finger-tight to proper torque spec.

It made me wonder if the bolts were stretching, or maybe the threads were deforming. Haven't had any issues, but I found it a bit unsettling.

I've know sold over 150 sets of these in the past few years and they are one of the fav brands that have been CONSISTENT with their quality and their anodizing. They are a quality product, or I wouldn't be offering them.

Well, the spacer is about 30mm thick. So probably a +30 offset. But if you're looking for the wheels to sit in the fender the same as these other trucks, then rim width would also come into play.

Assuming you started with the 17x7.5 Trail wheels, the spacers would change the offset from 15mm to -17mm.

ordered 2" spacers today. i have some 3" on my miata right now, with 8.5" wheels, i have 10" wheels for it that dont need the spacers but i got curb rash so im going to do a epoxy fix on the lip then put them back on next year.

but yea 2" next week. excited to see what i need to do.

Not sure how I ended up on this thread as I belong in the the stone-age 3rd Gen thread group. Over there, one of the main reasons we do this mod is to prevent the tires from rubbing on the UCAs when you go up a few tire sizes on stock rims. It does not generally create new rubbing points. That must be a 5th Gen thing.
