Wheel spacers with stock wheels?

I run SpiderTrax 1.25" on my 2014 Limited with Stock 20" Wheels and the only problem I have is a little rubbing when turning. Just haven't had the time to trim the wheelwell.

Here is what 1.25" spacers look like on the 7" TRD Pro wheels with 265 70R17 Duratracs with no lift on an ORP. They fill out the wheel wells more and IMO look better with the C4 fab sliders. All mods in stages for me, and this is the running configuration of my rig before I spec and budget a lift and new wheels/wider tires.

At what cost you say? I had to trim the front bumper and relocate the liner and pull off the front mud flaps. I don't have the 55mph wiggle with the BORAs torqued to 90 ft lbs with blue loctite and maybe if you keep your tire pressures equal and check the torque on the spacers occasionally all will be fine with your ride as well. I don't see enough posts/classifieds/threads about folks buying used 4Runners or other 4WD vehicles and replacing the bearings due to spacers, so I'm not going to worry about it for the short duration that I plan to run this setup.

Why do it? Makes the truck look much beefier than without. We get compliments on the overall setup everywhere we go. YMMV.

I bought some TRD Pro wheels w/ 275/70/17 ko2's for my 18 OFP w/ kdss. I went to a local 4x4 shop to get a quote on a 5100 2.5/1.5 and they also suggested the wheel spacers for a better look. Do you think there will be any issues with the KDSS system ?

I have KDSS also. Exact same lift as mine and it was the same suggestion they gave me at the shop (RSG in Denver). Colton said they install them (Spidertrax 1.25) quite a bit and I'd really like the beefier look. I do.

That looks awesome! I'm running the Toytec 2" with 285/70/17 and tried test fitting Spidertrax. It was a no-go, need BMC to get any wheel articulation. Looked good sitting there though lol.

How big of a tire can I upgrade to with spacers without having to chop the body?

If you lift, you will probably need a BMC. At full lock, with or without spacers, you won't fit a pinky between the wheel and the frame when using 285s. There's huge variability in size between tires, but any MT 285 will be on the beefier size.

Yes! Quick update here. There was a price increase Jan 1 and I didn't raise it as I was too lazy to update the site. It's still at that low low price.

I agree with Jetboy's 01-10-18 post, no doubt about what he says. How much will it shorten wheel bearing life? Let us know when you replace your bearings.

Cool, black in stock, but they are going quick since the weather broke.

I've been on this forum since 2002 and have sold hundreds of these for 3rd gens, 4th gens, and now 5th gens. I've never had a failure to date, sold the first set back in 2003. There are a ton of guys on here running this specific part. Most just want to fit a bigger tire with these and or fill out the wheel-well to get a wider stance on factory wheels and this is what they do. You can search this forum to death on spidertrax brand and the difference is, these have the exact same thread engagement as the stock lugs do, which is important and I encourage anyone curious to do a search to see the great feedback. These are also made in the USA not overseas like most are, but say they are made here. You just gotta be careful.
