Wheel Spacers with TE Wheels

I just picked up a brand new set of factory 17" TE wheels for my 2011 LE. I've reach a bunch on this site about users installing wheels spacers with SR5 wheels but couldn't find anything on TE wheels.

What would be a recommended spacer size to fill out the wheel well with TE wheels. Btw, I'm planning to install Goodyear Silent Armor's 265/70/17

Nope, but then neither are most of the mods we do to our trucks.

:lol: I should have reworded that. I meant coming from an LE going to a TE wheel, will I need spacers for clearance issues. Didn't mean to sound wifey.

You shouldn't since the brake callipers are the same. I think where some guys with SR5 wheels are putting in spacers is when they get a lift and go to a larger tire without getting aftermarket upper control arms they're getting tire rub on the stock control arms. Adding wheel spacers will just relocate that rubbing to the liners and body mount though.

You will increase the chance of rubbing by using spacers. I have TE wheels on my LE with no spacers and they are great. Put them on and run them for a month before you decide, then go for spacers if you still want them. You may have to fight come clearance issue with the spacers, so I would go to the smallest size (1") available.
