Wheel Speed Sensor Broken Need Advice

Hey guys,

So in the process of lifting my truck this last weekend I accidently damaged my driverside wheel speed sensor. As such I've got the fun VSC, ABS, Steering position sensor alarms. I need to order a new sensor but dont want to pay stealership prices for something I know I can get elsewhere for less. Does anyone have any suggestions on places I can get a speed sensor? Or perhaps I can get lucky and someone's doing a part out???

How would I test for a damaged wheel speed sensor? My dashboard has looked like a Christmas tree for some time now.

Broke mine trying to remove them. Got the ebay pair and they have been in for almost a year work great no problems. clean the bores and put dielectric grease on the connection and in the bore. This will make it possible to remove them in the future.

I got one on amazon for like $25 and I think it worked fine. Probably doesn't last as long as OEM but you can buy 5 for the price of an OEM one.

You are more than likely to have damaged the ABS wire than the actual sensor itself. They are very easy to damage when lifting the vehicle. You can find genuine OEM wires on amazon for around $50.
