So, last week or so my ABS, TRAC,VSC, BRAKE light came on and have been on. This week I decided to get into it and check the front to speed sensors and both were about 1500 ohms. Then went to the back to realize how bad they are and then found the ABS code method.
I ran the codes and I received a 33 and 41. 33 Driver rear sensor and 41 low voltage which is odd. So i go to take the driver speed sensor out and that is a no go as it is STUCK in there pretty good. I didnt want to completely destroy it without having the other to replace. After wiggling and whacking I put it back.
Decide to start the truck and no lights, cool.
Next day I go to drive the truck and the lights are all back and now the speedometer is acting all weird. Bounces around with any speeds under 45 really.
Then when idling if i hit the gas it coughs then revs.
2001 auto 4runner 3.4.
Any ideas? I am also not getting and Engine codes. I have not checked the ABS codes yet again.
I am going to be ordering a wheel speed sensor from Rock auto today.
