wheel/tire combo recommendations

LOVE my Firestone Destination M/Ts. Pic below not my truck but good look at the tires.

80psi was probably the max psi for the tire, which is not recommended for driving. Usually, the psi recommended for your vehicle's stock tires will do just fine, and that way the tire pressure monitor won't get angry.

Revo2s and BFG ATs are ok offroad tires, Grabber AT2s are one step up, Duratracs are good offroad tires and Firestone MTs are beasts (yet not too noisy).

Offroader Tire Reviews (look down the left tab) is a great site, pretty reliable tire ratings of tire performance in street, sand, mud, etc. Tirerack is also a great source for more street/normal use info - read at least 10 tirerack reviews (if you can, not all tires available) on a tire you like, and that will give you a lot more info.

It's probably best if you spend some time, find 5 or so tires that you like, then ask what others think. Keep in mind, aggressive MT tread patterns often don't fair well in sand.

Good luck!
