Wheeler's T-12 & New T-13 Rear Lift Coils!

Hmm, Wheeler's told me it was only needed for the front driver's side?

I would go with whatever Wheeler's suggest.

btw, I just ordered a new lift from them. Kings were on a 6-week wait. I decided to go with 6112/5160 with T12 rear coils. Also, didn't mind saving some cash on this setup, haha. Looking forward to a direct comparison to the 5100 setup.

Nice man! Yea, they seem to know they're stuff over there. I wanted to do that same combo, but i'm building on a budget at this point and time. Trying to avoid UCA's and dropping a grand on the lift itself.

That kit is going to satisfy, for sure! The T12 springs are going to really make bump up for the rear, i hear.

Thank you for your business, dot_tom! We appreciate it very much!

I am looking forward to it. You will love the 5100s and Wheeler's coils! I just have the constant mod bug, haha

Thank you for the great service!

Just finished placing my order with Wheeler's for the Billy 5100's all around with T1/T13 springs and the trim packer for the driver's side lean! Can't wait to get these on and test them out at Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway in two weeks!

Post some good, straight side angle pics, will ya? I'm trying to commit to that package. ...just want to see some more images.

Do it. You won't regret it.

Yeah. I almost certainly will. I just am trying to make sure that the rear coils will put me at 1.5 lift to level the truck with the front 2.5. If seems height varies a lot from rig to rig. I'm also still looking at the trim packer and where it goes/if it's needed. Conflicting advice even in this thread.

More pictures means more reassurance!

The common place for the trim packer is up front. Just like Wheeler's had told Supa LA. This is the same for Tacomas as well. Although companies like Cornfed make their spacers in the rear different thicknesses to compensate for the lean. IMO, again just my opinion, you can solve the lean going either route. OME rear 10mm spacer or front trim packer.

One of the reasons I chose to do the rear OME 10mm spacer is due to the rear weight I carry often. RTT, Awning, Camping gear. This is a good bit of weight and I thought in my head "well, any additional rear height will help".

just my .2

I will next week when they go on! I say pull the trigger man, i shopped around and was back and forth on several different kits for months. I decided onthe 5100s/Wheeler's springs because it's a solid setup and it's fairly cheap. I was on somewhat of a budget for my first lift, and considering i dont have a rack or awning or anything of the like yet, i knew this setup would suffice for me.

Bingo! Couldn't have said it better myself.

Do you have a 5th gen? Because that would give you a 2.5-3" lift in the rear.

Yes I do. Wheelers says the T1 coils provide 2.5” in the front. I carry enough stuff that I’ll be nose high if my truck is level.

Plus if you go 2.5 in the front and the rears give you approximately 2.5, then you'll keep your factory rake like you want. Win win.

Ordered my T1 and T13 springs with the 1/4” trim packer Incase I needed it. Looking forward to this combo with the bilsteins.

I'm roughly 20 hours in with this EXACT setup. So far so good! I'm liking the stiffer feel, no more nose dove or float when going around turns. I'll get to test it thoroughly this weekend when i go hit some trails.

I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but I have a 2.5 front lift with a 1.5 rear lift using the OME 895e springs and a trim packer on the driver rear. I'm level side to side and the top of the fender is an inch higher in the rear. The springs are stiff enough that even with that heavy aftermarket sliding tray and a hundred pounds of tools I don't really see much, if any sag, definately not enough to get nose high.
