Wheeling/Camping post-Thanksgiving?

Looking to do some easy runs and/or camping after Thanksgiving this Thursday. Anyone interested? I'm not set on any location and I'm open to suggestions. :rockon:

interested in either wheeling or camping. need to put in some face time with the family but after thursday, i don't think i have any family obligations.

weather.com says Anza Borrego will be sunny with highs of low-70s and lows of low-40s. what say we do some exploring down there?

friday through sunday?

just throwing this out there. i've never been down there but i'm sure we can figure out a plan!

also i'm likely to go buy a coleman stove tomorrow at REI before the winter sale ends. so a trip next weekend will be a great time to use it!

I'm thinking of just doing a run Friday since I might have to work on Saturday, and maybe I can camp Saturday night and do another run on Sunday. I'll know closer to the end of the week.

Next weekend im going to stoddard wells with a friend and taking all the toys. Im hoping my baja Bug will be done but I dont think so. probably thurs-sun.

hm.. i couldn't get a propane campfire in time. it's gonna be low-40s. any thoughts on alternatives for keeping warm outside in the evening?

i guess i can turn my little jetboil on full blast and huddle around it lol

I was in Anza this past weekend and it wasn't too bad. If it gets cold I use my little grill for a fire pit. (You can have fire in metal containers). I maybe down to join you guys, just this holiday weekend is going be packed everywhere.
