toggle switch and 18ga wire, female connectors and electrical tape i assume. Thats it?? autozone here i come!

Yep get the female versions of these quick disconnects and I'll do the rest

They just aren't as bright as my '03 were, and some dim spots here and there. Same goes for the center console cluster too.

By the way, I'm doing this mod after dark, for those who want it. I'm not wasting precious daylight for a mod when I'm driving 330 miles each way.

Then show up at the meeting spot at 8 in the morning cause I'm not wasting the daylight working on people's trucks.

There's an even easier way to disable it without a switch... You unplug the connector. The switch just makes it so you don't have to pop the hood and plug/unplug it.

Let me know which you decide, but I'm wheeling all day regardless.

Exactly. I'm not driving 7 hours to wake up early to install a switch. No way. Not trying to be a d*ck, but accept my offer of help or do it yourself. Don't b*tch about my constraints...
