Um.....I'm confused. That fact by itself is not unusual (!), but here's my problem: I've seen the name of our final destination spelled three different ways on this thread, and neither TomTom nor MapQuest has much good info on any of them. Are we going to (1) Batsto, or (2) Batson, or (3) Basto Village? Enquiring minds want to know.

What to look for in Pine Barrens

Yeah my plan is to go around the puddles unless I know for sure it's not that deep. I'm mostly looking forward to the mud and the hills. We're probably going through the trails in a big line right?

I'm looking at everyones signatures and realizing eveyone seems prepared for this with lift kits this, springs that, and billy badass tires. Whos gonna be pulling me out of the goop? Kidding. I plan to stay away from the water too.

I was also curious how the line of cars will work in the woods. Has someone been here before? Apparenly it is rather huge and easy to get lost in.

Same here and not just for this trip, been wanting to go there since I got the 4R.....

Am definitely staying away from anything that deep. Fender top is my limit...JK!

Anyone know if tow straps from NAPA are any good?

Don't get tow straps, get recovery straps. They're meant for yanking. Tow straps can break pretty easily from what I was told, no matter how strong they are, if used for recovery purposes.

By the way, any other V8s going?

what did i create, the video was suppose to be funny because the guy jumped into the puddle in his underwear after he went through, but now i got people second guessing their truck. LOL We all gonna be fine, our trucks were made for it.
