I used to work at Wendy's. I used to open too, the employees are gonna be like :wtf: when a bunch of 4Runners pull in their parking lot before they open haha

Nice, I also took my running boards off(month ago actually), and today cut off my resonator and welded a pipe to the side. Getting some ice tomorrow for the snacks, my boss loaned me a recovery rope (not the best one, but it will work) mine doesn't get here till next week. Taking a small shovel, lots of towels, Camera with tripod, in case we decide to take a group picture and my GPS. 35 degrees Saturday morning, Warm clothes and boots should do it!

Where is the recovery gear?

Shovel behind the tunno cover, plywood under the saw and cooler, tow strap under folding chairs and other recovery gear in cubbies. Boots, towels, tent, sleeping bags, clothes, chainsaw, etc!

Ken, I think it feels a little different with out running boards, but still trying to adjust how it looks, they will possible go back, because my wife scratched her head when she looked how high it was and she was wondering how she will be able to get in. LOL

I took off my running boards the day after I bought it. My girlfriend and my mom sometimes complain about the height, but I told them if something ever takes it's place, it will be rock sliders haha

Get sliders from XTOR4x4. They make great steps and they were 100% custom per my needs and wants for sliders

My girlfriend just jumps in the truck, no need for the sliders. I, on the other hand, with my elderly body, prefer the sliders over no running boards at all, and you hardly notice em!

....4wheeling on Sunday? Sounds great to me, and I'd like to do it, but not all by myself, 'cause (1) I'm under-equipped, and (2) I'm chicken!
There, I said it! I've reserved two days at the motel, and hope I don't have to go back until Monday morning!

Well my parents said they *might* get me something I want for Christmas for my truck. I don't know whether to ask for Light Racing UCA's or sliders. Right now, leaning toward UCAs for perfect alignment specs and better handling. I just did the lift a month ago and that obviously wasn't cheap so it will be a while before I'll spend more on mods.

EDIT: Alex, what sliders are you talking about? Google didn't help. Just linked to a bunch of T4R posts from you because you have it in your sig.

X-treme off road terrain is great dude who does custom fab from Iowa. He custom built those for me for $375 shipped. Super cheap! Great work

Wow, $375 is a great deal. How did you go about getting those made? So far, the Rocky Road Supersliders are at the top of my list. They're a little over $500 shipped.
