Yes, it is a lever, i guess when i took off the grill broke the plastic thing that holds the metal stick on the lever in place and now i just need to replace that so i don't have to stick my fingers through the grill and pull on the hook

No, I'm saying that cleaning it wouldn't ruin the pulley. It most likely was destroyed when we went wheeling and it started getting loud now around the time you cleaned your truck. Just a coincidence. I'd replace it ASAP

I'd be in if I didn't have to replace my transmission
. I'm looking at leasing a single cab Tacoma 4x4 with a 5-speed stick. If I get that, I'll commute down and ride along with Lee or NJshadow or someone. No more wheeling til at least next summer

When I can afford $3000 for the trans, $300 for brakes (do it myself of course), $1700+ for body work and steel rear bumper, and more.... Got a long and expensive road to recovery.
All right, screw it! May the Foul Fiend take the souls of those who inflicted "Snapfish" and the other photo-sharing programs. I've been trying all day to transfer 15-20 pics of our Pine Barrens expedition from Snapfish to FaceBook so others could enjoy, but I couldn't even manage that. If anyone here has the brains to find them, you're welcome to them. Never have I used less user-friendly, less intuitive software in my life. I include PhotoBucket in the foregoing list of insults. My apologies in advance. Someone IM me a name, street address, zip code, etc., and I'll mail you a bunch of good pics with comments written on the back of each one.

All you have to do is save the photos from your memory card into a folder on your desktop, then in Facebook go to upload photos and take them from the folder you saved the photos to.
Memory card is kaput.
I have to scan each printed photograph into some sort of ill-defined "folder" or "album," then try to transfer same to FB, with disastrous results. I have the computer literacy of a tree stump. For that matter, I'm damn near as old as a tree stump. I suggest that the one fact is indeed a function of the other one.
