wheels are toe in after lift..how to i straighten them?

so i lifted my runner with bj spacers and my tires in front are now toe in and its destroying my tires! what do i do?? thanx!

dude u should have got an alignment right after u put the bjs in!!!!! lol see the process is.... put them in, go eat somthing, then go get an alignment! lol they will fix it, the guys at my les swab gave me the stupid look when i brought mine in but they will straiten it out.

You can get toe-in pretty close yourself. The Factory Service Manual has instructions.
Otherwise a good shop can do it.

no im not sure...never messed with suspension before all i know is that they are closer together on the bottom than the top..

its cuz you threw the geometry off when u put in the ball joint spacers if you cant afford an alignment u can look in the manual and eye it close and then when you have money i would go to a shop

i dont have the owners manual haha. i will def take it to a shop but i need to replace my cv axles first. but id like to not destroy my tires first. any websites have the manual?

That's camber, not toe in. Toe in is when they're closer at the front of the tire than at the back.

I don't have a lot of experience with IFS but I believe an offset balljoint may be required to fix camber issues. Maybe someone else will have better advice about how to fix it, if it were me I'd take it to a shop and see what they suggest.

oh ok thanks dougiefresh. and thurlo76, my front shocks have gone bad. everytime i higt the smallest bump i bounce everywhere and i hear things grinding. will that go away with new shocks and cvs or have a screwed something else up? also my drivers side wheel the little cap thats on the hub or whatever that is, wont stay on b/c there is a shaft type thing sticking out like an inch...?

Yeah, that's camber. That's why i asked, camber would be more likely with BJ spacers. The IFS has cams for adjusting camber. A good shop should be able to do the job, assuming the problem is in the range of adjustment.
