Wheels, tires, and tint.

Had a pretty eventful past week. I picked up a set of stock sport wheels cheap on Craigslist a while back. Had to strip them down and sand them down. Hit them with some primer and rustoleum hammered gray. The center caps got sprayed with plasti dip and toyota emblems were painted silver. I wrapped them with cooper at3 in 265/7017. Followed up with 35% front window tint today. Did the bhlm and bflm last weekend.

Looks like you had the same issue I did. Since the windows all have natural tint except the front two, it makes the aftermarket tint not match perfectly front to rear. But, I don't think it's a big deal. Looks nice...congrats.

I had them meter the stock rear tint, and it came out to 30%. So I went with the 35%. Definitely did not want the front darker. Still technically not legal around here. Figured it was a bit safer though than 20%.

That's 35%? Wow. I got 17% on mine and yours looks just as dark as mine! Usually 35% is almost unnoticeable...but yours actually looks really good and will actually help keep interior temps down. Nice.

I think I ended up with 3M 30 or 35% when I had my fronts done.

Thanks everyone. I'm pretty happy with the result. Those minor mods have really made a pretty big difference.
