I don't know why you keep refering to me when I'm making general comments. Can you read?

Your post was not the only post on this thread that carried the tone that you seem to have. You took my post and made it all about you. I never named you or your responses to toybox whom you thought I was directing my statements towards. When I'm directing myself to someone, I name them. I was making a general blanket statement about the thread. Thus, your reply and smug comments directed towards me caught me off guard which leads me to wonder; perhaps the shoe does fit in your case? You certainly have been snotty on this thread, to use your word, whether you chose to realize it or not. Now back to the topic about rising gas prices.

Fourty-four said:Gas prices have been on the rise for YEARS now. Anyone who bought a vehicle in the last three years should have known the potential for gas prices to keep climbing.
To put it simply, if it hits you that hard in the pocket, then do something about it. Either find a way to earn more money, drive less, or sell the 4Runner for a more economical car.
Seems logical to me.
Buying beyond one's means seems to be the American way these days.
I should go and buy a 2 million dollar house so that I can complain about the cost of the property taxes....:bash:

You can't write either if that was supposed to be general.
Nice to see that we're starting off the day back on topic again...OK. I'll jump in for a minute...What quote CV?...Where did I quote you in my initial post?Originally posted by Mixed4u

I'll be buying a motorcycle within the next two weeks to combat the high gas prices. Also it is something I've wanted to do for a while so it kills two birds with one stone. An added benefit on top of the great gas mileage is that the motorcycle will allow me to travel in the HOV lanes so it should reduce my commuting times as well.
