When I change the oil, I spot check other fluid levels and for leaks. I d/n want to Jump a related oil change post but wanted to add this (07 T4R 2WD).
1. I have a Low Work Ramp 3” high that eliminates a floor jack and stands (that I should have made 4-5” high. LOL
2. When I change my oil, I spot check fluid levels, belts under the hood and look for any signs of leaks underneath. Changing the oil filter is a dream by the battery’s post red insulation.
3. The trans pan’s drain plug? caught my eye since the plug is not at the bottom but changes are not recc. I feel it’s to drain enough fluid w/o making a mess if needed. Nor is there a dip/stick fill/check tube.
4. Checking the rear-end’s fluid was a challenge. The one-way vent valve ck was good, d/n take it apart.
5. If you are doing your routine services, spot checking at least at oil changes will help on your PM.
