If I remember correctly, you installed on the fourth groove from the bottom and got over three inches of lift. Did you come down a groove or two?

I left it on the fourth groove. After a week it settled down to about 2.5 inches of lift. I decided to leave it there and installed a spacer on the rear springs to compensate. im pretty happy with the results and the ride now.

[MENTION=103267]Saker[/MENTION], I picked up a set of Bearing Buddy covers tonight at O’Reilly Auto Parts (model 17B), 2 for $3.69. I can confirm they fit perfect!!!!!!!! They fit real tight; actually I stretched the open end a little with my fingers to make it a little easier to get them started, then pushed all the way down (no lube necessary), the suction created will definitely prevent them from falling off.

Maybe a couple drops of 3 in1 oil, maybe spray silicone (not sealant), or something similar....
I don't know if that is going to cause condensation as long as it's dry when the caps are installed. Thinking temp differences would cause that....
What's your thoughts?

I'm wondering about temperature extremes. Just assembled mine along the lines of the dimensions you provided. I'll try the BB caps also. I guess I'll just keep tabs on it for awhile..
BTW, I was going to install with the banjo up on the res, but it put a bit of a twist in the line that I was unsure of.
On another front. I was speaking to my neighbor yesterday that has the PRO suspension. When he installed, he remembered that the reservoir bracket for the PRO suspension had a Bilstein part #.

That's why I oriented mine with the banjo down, didn't like the tension the other way.
Interesting on the Bilstein part #.

Did you see the condition of my frame (3 years and 23,000 miles)???
:wtf: Condensation in recess is not my first concern.......... You could always apply a thin layer of clear RTV Silicon around the inside of cap, then slide them on...........that would make it 100% waterproof!
You could also do a rear differential breather style mod.......call it "Rear Shock Reservoir Breather Mod", install a plastic hose into each cap (seal with RTV), then route lines into rear quarters of interior............ :hiding:
