Very content with going on the 4th notch on ours. My first thought is that it will be too much compromise with on road manners in the fast corners, off cambers, stutter bumps etc. it actually still feels flat with the KDSS and soaks the bumps up that much better. Just waiting on the all terrains to show up tomorrow and will post update pic. Here's one for now pulled up beside a trdp I saw.

Dont know why anyone would need to, but Ive done it before. You need the right type of spring compressor, or do it by unbolting the LCA.

It's been a long wait but finally got mine installed tonight. Went with the 3rd setting and a daystar 1.5 in spacer in the rear. So far so good. It rides so much better than stock.

Do you have before and after height dimensions?? And the color code(s) of your front coils?

Looks great! I'm planning on doing the same exact setup. I can't tell if your truck is still raked or if it is more level. I'm looking for a slight front rake as I tow/carry bikes/dog/etc. With a 1.5" daystar in the rear, I "think" i'm gonna go with the 3rd clip up, but I want to be 100% sure.
Any other input from others would be helpful. If I'm looking for a slight frontward rake, should I go 2nd or 3rd clip up with a 1.5" daystar spacer in the back (using factory rear coils). THANKS!

typically if you DO NOT add rear springs/spacer and only have the stock rear springs you will not gain any rear lift. This combined with the third clip in front about levels you from what i have read here.
my experience is i went with the second clip on the 6112s and the 5160s in the rear and did NOT add a rear spacer or springs. i am raked forward a bit for the same reason you wanted a rake (heavy camping gear, bikes on a tow hitch rack, etc). with the 1.5" spacer you could probably jump up to the 3rd or maybe even 4th groove. others on here have done that. take a look back at the previous pages in this thread IIRC someone here did that, but i could be mistaken and it could be in a different thread.
FWIW i believe* the 4th groove on the 6112s and 1.5" SAW coils leave some rake (but those have been known to add more than 1.5" of lift for those without the 3rd row seats).

These might show a little better but still have rake similar to factory. I'm at the 3rd ring on front and 1.5 spacers in rear.

I'm also looking to re-rubber the wheels. What size tires are you running with this setup. Seems to fit the wheel well perfectly. Depending on the tire size, I may take 4RunHer's recommendation and stay on the 2nd clip up with some Cooper Discoverer AT3's in a 275/70/17.

Here is mine done 2 weeks ago 6112 4th notch front/5100 with 1.5 spacer rear. I have about .75" higher in rear with this setup.

So - I've been doing some thinking and trying to get back to basics on my setup - I finally pulled the trigger on a set of 6112 and 5160's to put on my TEP w/KDSS. I'm looking to achieve a slightly higher ride height while moving the nose slightly towards level but still having a frontwards rake due to the weight of a hitch mount bike rack/two bikes, fishing tackle and/or a dog going in the trunk and occasionally towing the boat. I originally thought going 3rd clip up on the 6112 and adding 1.5" daystars in the rear, with the possibility of adding 2" Icon springs later if I need more rear support as the ideal setup, but then I got to thinking about tires...
I've been doing a bit of research on what kind of tires I'm going to put on and having that mostly justify how high I need/should put the truck. I'm looking for a AT tire with good road manners and great in snow as I bomb to work in the snow and to the mountains for skiing as well as dirt/logging roads for fishing - but mostly highway driving to work (i know - work hard to play hard).
From what I've read, I think a set of Discoverer AT3's (275/70/17) would best suit my needs. I've also looked at the KO2's for a better tire in the snow as well, but it's more of an aggressive look than what I'm going for and I'm a bit worried about the noise and road manner as compared to the AT3's.
Given the kind of tire I'm looking to get, I'm wondering if a setup with 3rd clip up with 1.5" daystar spacers in the rear would be too much for the size tire I intend on using and ultimately leave a weird amount of space in the wheel well. The other option I'm now considering is to go with the second clip up and see, if any, smaller spacer is available to put in the rear to keep a more stock rake/slightly higher nose stance.
I'm looking to get this right the first time and greatly appreciate any knowledge/experience shared. I also can't wait to get the goods!!!

Height with all stock shocks & springs, measured from lower wheel hub to fender, in inches.
Front Driver: 21.75"
Front Passenger: 21.60"
Rear Driver: 23.50"
Rear Passenger: 23.50"
Height after Bilstein 6112s fronts (2nd notch) and 5160 rears (OEM springs), measured from lower wheel hub to top of the wheel well, in inches.
Front Driver: 23.00"
Front Passenger: 22.875"
Rear Driver: 23.625"
Rear Passenger: 23.875"
Differences:
Front Driver: 1.25"
Front Passenger: 1.275"
Rear Driver: 0.125"
Rear Passenger: 0.375"

Hey all, ordered my 6112s today, but unfortunately the rear 5160s are on backorder almost everywhere until late August or even September.
That being said, I wanted to make sure I correctly understood the 6112 settings and rear coil relationships:
- 2nd notch (~1.5-1.75" front lift) + stock rear coils = almost level but veeerrry slight rake
- 3rd notch (~2" front lift) + stock rear coils = level
- 3rd notch + 1.5"-2" rear coils or spacer = overall lift but still with verrry slight rake
- 4th notch (2.5" front lift) and beyond is more than I'm looking for.
Are those above combinations correct? Thanks!
