When will the Bilstein 6112 be released?

The 6112's are available now but I will also be going with 5160's for the rear and they are currently sold out.

I had the same issue back in December. I was lucky and found a set at autoplicity. I just checked but they are out now too. Sorry.

When I was looking for my 5160s a month or so ago they were sold out everywhere I looked. I was told they would be back in stock by April. Hopefully you shouldn't have to wait long. I ended up getting mine from 4wheelparts. The local stores were out of stock but they were able to steal some from a store in Cali for me.

Thanks for the feedback. Other than cosmetics, I am in no real hurry. I was just reading through another thread and someone recommended the 5100 all around... So many decisions. 5100's would save a lot of $$ but I'm sure I would feel the difference. Would like to keep the comfort level as high as possible since the vehicle will be more on road than anything else. Can't wait to get dirty though... [emoji52]

Shouldnt be a difference. You're not preloading the spring so it should be the same all the way to the top. Im on the 3rd notch and its nice and smooth.

hey guys, does anyone know what the avg lift people are getting on the 2nd circlip? It seems most are getting two inches from the 1.25 setting. Is the 2nd the same? I would like to 1.25-1.5 upfront, and not lift the rear, wondering if the 2nd circlip would meet my needs.

What i can say is I'm at 2nd with a synthetic rope winch and a Pelfrey's hidden mounting plate and I have more rake than I'd like. Prob. over an inch.

Guys,
It's a known fact that the paperwork from Bilstein is/was incorrect that came in the 6112's boxes for the T4R's.
They were made aware of this early on.
Why they never changed the documents, we never got a good answer.

If you have 10 people here that have 6112's installed at a certain circlip groove and they all get the same physical results, it would be obvious that the documents included in the boxes, if they conflict with the actual results would be incorrect, don't you think?

If the numbers are correct going down as they are going up by Circlip setting, then you should get 1.5" lift on the 2 Circlip groove from the bottom over OEM measurements.....

I wouldn't think there would be any performance differences, at all.

Those two settings dont really have a noticeable difference in ride quality or performance. The extra stiffness is really only noted between the very bottom and very top setting.
