Where did you mount your CB radio?

So I already set up and mounted my CB radio and ran lines ect. Ran power to a fuse accessory box. Ran cable to antenna attached to my gobi rack. But I used industrial Velcro to and attached it to side center console but over a few days the heat melted the 3M adhesive for the Velcro and I could not get it to stick. Any recommendations? Pictures or links are appreciated.

The industrial strength velcro stands up to heat, at least it has for me so far
