The one thing i did not like about my Trail was that it doesn't have a sunglass holder, for now I just use the bottom cubby behind the shifters, big enough for a pair.

I stuff mine in the gap right next to the transfer case shifter. The rattle alot but I used to it...

I keep mine in the lower door front cup holder which I never use. I took an old plastic cup and cut it down a little to fit in the nicely then lined the inside with black felt to match the interior. Now they are easy to reach and do not rattle around. My sunglasses are to big to fit in my overhead counsel.

When there aren't any back seat passengers in the truck, I hang them by one of the ear pieces on the far left end of the passenger seat cargo pocket (i.e. closest to the center console). Same place I kept them in my 2002 3rd Gen and never had them fall out. I keep a hard case in the center console for times there are passengers in the back or I have the back end loaded up and/or back seats folded up. I've thought about velcro'ing the hard case to the top of the center console lid (interior of the lid next to the tissue box holder) but never gotten around to seeing if will work since my oakley hard case doesn't really slide around in the center console anyway...

After lowlifes broke into my last vehicle to steal my sunglasses and some loose change, I now am in the habit of leaving nothing visible.

My backup sunglasses go in the overhead sunglass flip-down compartment, and my main sunglasses in the door side-pocket out of sight. I occasionally wear my main sunglasses into the house and forget to bring them the next day, so I like having backups which always stay in the vehicle.

i have a cup in the cupholder in the bottom panel of the drivers door I keep them in with a pair of readers. Its my wifes car so they are out of her way but very close for my access.

Either in the tray by the interior handle or in the 4wd lever boot....they haven't scratched yet though given there condition I doubt I'd notice any new scratches.

I believe the "SOS" button is for "Store Our Sunglasses" - depressing that button should open a secret sunglasses storage compartment :jk:

I have a 14 TE and no sunglass holder. I was able to use a sunglass clip on the visor. I got it at Walmart of all places and it does fine. This thread is funny...I don't particularly like having it there but it works best and is easy to get to.
