where is the drain plug? 06 4RSE

ok 4runner is new to me, i went under the truck and all i see is the darn skid plate. it sounds stupid, but am here to learn. do i have to take the whole plate in order to reach/see the oil drain plug ? my civic is easy, idk about 4runners.

can someone share a picture of where it is, drain plug.

I take it that you are talking about the oil drain plug! It's located behind a little plastic trap door in the center of the skid plate.

Don't worry........after a long road trip or during your first offroad episode; this cheap-o plastic door will fall off thus leaving you an permanent opening to your oil drain plug!
