where is the engine block coolant drain ?

Hello all , I searched around on this forum to no avail for this. Can someone please tell me where the coolant drain plug is on my '98 3.4 V6 engine block?
The Haynes manual I have shows a drawing of one above the fan but in the instructions it says it's on the left side of the block ! I was really surprised that there wasn't any mention of it on the threads I checked

There is one on each side of the block. One by the oil cooler and one above and back to the rear of the truck from the AC compressor.
