Where is the huge thread about the drive shaft clunk?

I've searched for this and can't find it. But a couple years back we had a thread going about the clunk that got quite big. Does anybody know what the title was?

I have searched under my name, under "clunk" and "drive shaft" to no avail.

Someone is asking me for the part number of the drive shaft the local dealer replaced on mine back somewhere in late 06 or early 07. (My clunk has never returned and they replace only the drive shaft.) I posted the stock number at least a couple times on here.

Can someone direct me to that thread so I can find the part number and tell this person asking?

I actually pumped about 15 shots of grease into drive shaft or u-joint closest to the transmission. I had just read that thread the other night...

Found it! Good Drive Shaft #

Thanks! I found one of the messages I posted from 2008 (I think). Here's a quote with the good drive shaft number:

"Here's the part number I originally posted back in May 07 (and posted again last week) for the replacement drive shaft my dealer installed (after consulting with Toyota area rep: 3/110-6A480. 10,000 miles & the clunk hasn't returned."

Add to that a couple more years and 25k miles - AND STILL NO CLUNK! :bravo:

All I do to it is occasionally a few squirts of Mobile1 grease.:cheers:
