Where to buy a dashboard for a '04 4-Runner???

I don't remember who did it but someone just re wraped the dash in some material (I think it was vinyl? That's about as cheap as you'll get. I think he did some heat shrink onto the other layer, but I don't recall.

I've seen them on Ebay, also try car-parts.com

It was on the forum. It wasn't a cover.

I'm looking to replace the dash though and not a cover or patch.
I tried Ebay and I'm waiting to hear back from a few in regards to compatibility. One listing states the dash good for model years (2003-2009) but when I enter exact details on another listing, it implies those years are not all compatible. I can't see the dashes as being compatible over such a period myself.
I will make a few inquiries on car-parts.com and appreciate the suggestion.
Meanwhile, if anyone has a definite and reputable place to buy a dash from please post such.

If you can't find a good dash for replacement I would suggest the coverlay solution. Good luck

I think your best bet would be to find a semi local toyota dismantler and see if you can get one from them. I know out here in CA, theres LKQ, which I think is nationwide. Might wanna try them.

Well, I too have the cracking dash issue and did my earnest search for the cheapest OEM replacement. And I am sorry to say that $810.00 was the cheapest that I could find, at www.oemparts123.com. I'm not ready to swallow that cost yet, but I have yet to find a used one that was not already cracking. Bummer.
